FELICITY: English Lit Club
English Literature, throughout the passage time, has had many roles; but one of the most important ones that it has maintained is it’s constant strive to spread knowledge and remove the ignorance that is spread in the society. Our club continues the tradition while modifying it to suit the need of this institution. In a college which produces professionals every year, we strive again and again to refine the skills of the student body by providing them with opportunities that allow them to hone the different skills that they have. The opportunities that we provide include different activities and events that are organized by our club in the college. A large talent pool such as one provided by our college, needs diversity in opportunities for their all round development. Some of the students are brilliant writers but lack skills when it comes to oration, we provide these students with opportunities such as Deadlock -The Debate, Enactment and many other such events where they can improvise themselves.
Besides providing opportunities we strive to help the students in the paths that lead to their lives ahead, to their future. Our events such as Lighthouse -The Paper Presentation, help student in gathering necessary information to lead a life they desire.
We strive to help and be the best. Our aim is reached more than not and our zeal is what that causes the success of our events.
In this year’s fest, Charisma 2014, we plan to fulfill our goal once again. To achieve this we have planned a series
of events that would challenge students and help them in mastering their skills.

CHINTAN SHRIJAN :Hindi Lit Club
It is said that the true origin of whether an individual or a whole nation lies in its literature. Literature is the mother of all civilization. And in India, literature is not just the textual description of our identity, but a precious heritage and a highly valuable source of our moral value, beliefs and culture. Hindi being our mother tongue and our national language has served as bridge between not just the people to express themselves but between current and past generations as Hindi through literature has gifted their memories, thoughts and ideas to us in legacy which shall live till the end of the time. Hindi Literature has thus played an essential role in helping in realizing ever single Indian his true identity. CHINTAN-SHRIJAN, the Hindi literature club not just to honor the everlasting legacy of Hindi but to encourage the modern youth to intensify their intimacy with the language, is organizing a number of soul stirring Hindi literature events so as to add a more culturally amplified and indigenous touch to UDGHOSh’17

When we try to find ourself in the droplets of water or breeze of air, we are watching a film. When we try to find our self in eyes of someone else, we are watching the film. When we bow to watch our own reflection in the lifeless water of lakes and smile, we are watching a film. And when we watch our self-crying before the mirror, we are watching a film. Photos and Films are not a standstill or moving images of the objects, it’s us. It’s the only way through which we meet our self. This, fest Films and Photography clubs brings before an opportunity to capture your feelings and put them before everyone.
